Do you offer in-person sessions?
Yes! My office is in the West University/Upper Kirby area of Houston. There is plenty of free parking available in the building's lot.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
I see clients virtually throughout Texas. I can also do EMDR sessions virtually.
How long are sessions?
While 50-minute sessions are most typical, 80 and 100-minute options are also available.
How often would we meet?
This depends on your individual needs and goals as well as your preferred pace. In the case of client crisis, struggles with functioning, or active eating disorder or dissociative symptoms, I will recommend a frequency based upon that. EMDR sessions typically are most effective when a client has session at least one session a week in order for us to do the EMDR while processing any day=to=day issues that arise. To help determine what frequency might be best for you right now, please reach out.
Do you take insurance?
I do not work directly with insurance companies due to the constraints they place upon client care. However, I do provide monthly superbills so you can utilize any out-of-network coverage you may have. I also offer a sliding scale to help make therapy as accessible as possible.
What are the details of your sliding scale?
There are a limited number of sliding scale spaces for clients based on gross annual household income of the client or client's guarantor. In order to ensure fairness and objectivity, proof of income is required. Please reach out to check availability and learn more.
What is the full fee rate?
The full rate is $225 for a 50-minute session.
